Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Hasta Media ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit or interact with our website and related pages (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Who We Are
Hasta Media is the controller of personal information processed through this website. For any privacy questions or requests, please use our contact page.
Scope and role
This Policy applies to information collected through our website and any pages we operate that link to this Policy. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked or embedded; their practices are governed by their own policies.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: such as your name and email address when you submit a form or send us a message.
- Usage data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, timestamps, pages viewed, and general diagnostic data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files or identifiers placed on your device to enable core features, remember preferences, understand performance, and support advertising as described below.
How we use information
- Provide and operate the Service and maintain security and integrity.
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
- Improve content and user experience through aggregate analytics and diagnostics.
- Personalize content and advertising where permitted by law or your consent preferences.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases: consent (for example, non-essential cookies or personalized ads), contract (providing features you request), legitimate interests (site security, basic analytics, non-personalized advertising) balanced against your rights, and legal obligation.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for core site functions and security.
- Functionality: remember choices such as language or region.
- Performance/analytics: understand how the site is used to improve quality.
- Advertising: support ad delivery and, where permitted, personalization and frequency capping.
You can manage cookies via your browser settings and, where shown, our consent notice. Disabling some cookies may affect features of the Service.
Advertising and personalization
We may work with advertising partners to display ads on our pages. These partners may use cookies or mobile identifiers to deliver ads, measure performance, and—where allowed—adapt ads to your interests. In regions where consent is required for personalized advertising, we will rely on your consent choices. If you opt out or where consent is not granted, you may still see ads, but they will be less relevant.
Analytics
We may use analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service. Analytics data is typically de-identified or aggregated.
How we share information
- Service providers: vendors who help us operate the Service (hosting, security, analytics, advertising placement) under appropriate safeguards.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
- With your direction or consent: for purposes you request.
We do not sell personal information. Where the law defines "share" to include cross-context behavioral advertising, we only engage in such activity when permitted by applicable law and subject to your consent or opt-out choices.
International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate measures to protect data during such transfers, consistent with applicable law.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted by law. Retention periods vary by data type and context (for example, contact form records are retained for support and recordkeeping, while aggregated analytics may be retained longer).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Cookie controls: manage cookies in your browser and, where available, through our consent notice.
- Marketing preferences: you may opt out of marketing communications by following instructions provided in those communications or by contacting us.
Your rights
Your rights depend on your location and the applicable law. Subject to exceptions, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your information, and to restrict or object to certain processing. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
- EEA/UK: you may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- California: you may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; you will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
- Indonesia: you may have rights to access, correct, and request deletion of personal data and to withdraw consent, subject to applicable law.
To exercise your rights, contact us at our contact page. We will respond as required by law.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry standard for responding to DNT, so we do not respond to these signals. Where required by law, we will reasonably honor applicable opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for activities that qualify as "selling" or "sharing" personal information.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the revised Policy.
